Detailed itinerary

  1. Pickup:

    • From your hotel within Nairobi city center at 8:00 AM.

    • Duration: Approximately 5–6 hours via Great Rift Valley viewpoint (breathtaking view of the rift valley floor).

  2. Arrival and Game Drive:

    • Lunch at a travelers motel en route.

    • Arrive late afternoon, check-in, sunset game viewing drive in Maasai Mara Reserve.

  3. Overnight:

    • Sumptuous buffet dinner and overnight at Enkajiang Camp or Rhino Tourist Camp or similar (ensuite tented camps with beds, linen, bathroom, flush toilet, mosquito nets).

  1. Full Day Game Drive:

    • All day exploring Maasai Mara for Big Five, wildebeest migration (July–November), hippos, and crocodiles at Mara River.

    • Picnic lunch in the reserve.

  2. Overnight:

    • Dinner and overnight at Enkajiang Camp or Rhino Tourist Camp or similar.

  1. Travel to Naivasha:

    • Depart Maasai Mara, lunch at a travelers hotel.

    • Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha for hippo viewing and bird watching (Crescent Island optional for walking safari).

  2. Overnight:

    • Dinner and overnight at Chambai Hotel or Astorian Hotel (hotel stay).

  1. Hell’s Gate National Park:

    • Morning biking or walking safari in Hell’s Gate gorges.

    • Lunch at the park.

  2. Travel to Namanga:

    • Proceed to Namanga border town.

  3. Overnight:

    • Dinner and overnight at Namanga River Hotel (hotel stay).

  1. Travel to Arusha and Lake Manyara:

    • Breakfast, cross border to Arusha, join group for game drives in Lake Manyara National Park (diverse wildlife, birds, tree-climbing lions).

  2. Overnight:

    • Dinner and overnight at Jambo Campsite or similar (ground-pitched tents with sleeping bags and mattresses provided).

  1. Travel to Serengeti:

    • Breakfast, game drive en route via Olduvai Gorge.

    • Afternoon game drives in Serengeti (wildebeest migration, black rhinos, predators).

  2. Overnight:

    • Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite or similar (ground-pitched tents).

  1. Travel to Ngorongoro:

    • Depart at 7:00 AM, game drive en route with picnic lunch.

    • Explore Ngorongoro’s crater, Big Five, wildebeests, zebras, Maasai livestock, Olduvai Gorge fossils.

  2. Overnight:

    • Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Campsite or similar (ground-pitched tents).

  1. Ngorongoro Crater:

    • Breakfast, half-day tour with picnic lunches (Big Five, flamingos, elephants).

  2. Travel to Arusha:

    • Proceed to Arusha.

  3. Overnight:

    • Dinner and overnight at Venus Premier Hotel (hotel stay)

  1. Return:

    • Breakfast, board shuttle to Nairobi, arrive around 3:00 PM.

    • Drop-off at hotel of choice or airport.
