Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up between 7:00 and 7:30 AM from your hotel within Nairobi City Centre or Westlands. Depart for the spectacular Maasai Mara, with a scenic stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint.

Take approximately 10 minutes to enjoy panoramic views across the Rift Valley and admire the surrounding volcanic landscape, including Mount Longonot, Mount Suswa, and Mount Margaret.

Continue to the Mara and arrive in time for lunch and check-in. At around 4:00 PM, head out for your first evening game drive, exploring the reserve as the sun begins to set. Return to camp around 6:00 PM for dinner and a relaxing evening.

DAY 2: FULL-DAY MAASAI MARA GAME DRIVE

After an early breakfast at approximately 6:30 AM, set out with packed lunch for a full day of wildlife exploration in the Maasai Mara.

The day is dedicated to searching for the Big Five — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino, as well as the many other species that inhabit the reserve.

You will also visit the Mara River, an important part of the Great Wildebeest Migration ecosystem. Depending on seasonal conditions and access, you may see hippos, crocodiles, and other wildlife along the river.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve surrounded by the spectacular Mara landscape before continuing your game drive.

The Maasai Mara forms part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem and is internationally known for the annual movement of wildebeest and zebras, followed by predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other carnivores.

DAY 3: MAASAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU

Via Lake Naivasha Boat Ride

After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and continue towards Lake Nakuru.

For guests interested in experiencing Maasai culture, an optional Maasai village visit can be arranged in the morning before departure. The village visit costs USD 20 per person, payable directly at the village.

On the way to Nakuru, stop at Lake Naivasha for an approximately one-hour boat ride, offering opportunities to see hippos and various bird species. Enjoy lunch before continuing to Nakuru.

Arrive in Nakuru in the late afternoon/evening, check in, enjoy dinner, and relax.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy an early breakfast, check out, and depart around 7:00 AM for Lake Nakuru National Park.

Embark on a game drive of approximately 4 hours, exploring the park in search of its diverse wildlife. Lake Nakuru is particularly known for its black and white rhinos, as well as the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe. Depending on the season and water conditions, flamingos and other bird species may also be spotted.

After the game drive, continue towards Amboseli with lunch along the way.

Arrive in Amboseli in the evening. Due to the late arrival, no evening game drive is planned.

DAY 5: FULL DAY IN AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park with a full-day game drive and packed lunch.

The park is famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain.

Keep watch for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, hippos, and other wildlife as you explore the park’s open plains and wetlands.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your wildlife adventure throughout the day.

DAY 6: AMBOSELI – NAIROBI

Begin your final day with an early morning game drive from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM, when wildlife is often active and conditions are ideal for photography.

Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and beginning your journey back to Nairobi.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, depending on your onward travel arrangements.
